Mid-Yellowstone Electric Cooperative (MYEC) is a rural electric cooperative headquartered in Hysham, Montana. Our service area includes all or part of four counties including Big Horn, Custer, Rosebud, and Treasure.

MYEC began energization June 17, 1940 and now serves approximately 740 members and has more than 2025 meters. MYEC has 1042 miles of line and 0.71 members per mile.

The Cooperative is governed by a seven member Board of Directors who are elected by the membership they serve. MYEC holds the Annual Meeting the third Wednesday in March and currently employs 10 full-time employees.
